General Occupant Training – AS 3745-2010

COURSE OVERVIEW

In accordance with Work Health and Safety legislation, all occupants/employees must receive training in their workplace to enable them to act in accordance with the facility’s Emergency Plan.

This eLearning short course has been designed as a refresher course only. All occupants across all industries and workplaces should complete General Occupant training to stay current in legislation, policies and local procedures. This course does not replace the need for practical fire extinguisher face-to-face training. All occupants/employees, regardless if they are full-time, part-time, casual or volunteers are required to complete this training as part of their induction and at intervals of no greater than 12 months.

This course has been designed around the principles of the Australian Standard AS 3745-2010 – Planning for emergencies in facilities.

COURSE ACCESS

Once a booking has been confirmed, students will be emailed a link with login instructions. Login requires the creation of a username and password to gain access into our student platform. Once the student has successfully completed the online course, they will be issued with a certificate of participation.

This course was developed by Fire and Rescue NSW uniformed officers who have extensive operational experience and hold qualifications in Training and Assessment.
